Recipe: Cookie Crust (and Lemon Bars)
1 Cup butter, melted
2 Cups Glynis’ Kitchen Scratch Mix
¼ Cup Sugar
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, blend together Glynis’ Kitchen Scratch Mix, butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9”X13” pan.
Bake for 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden.
For Lemon Bars: Whisk 1 Cup sugar, ¼ Cup of Glynis’ Kitchen Scratch Mix, then whisk in 4 eggs, and the juice of 2 lemons until smooth. Pour over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 20 minutes. Let pan set on cooling rack until firm to touch.
Cut into uniform 2” squares. Garnish with powdered sugar and ENJOY!!!
