Recipe: Glynis’ Sour Cream Buttermilk Biscuits
2 Cups of Glynis’ Butter Biscuit Mix
3 TBL Sour Cream
3 TBL Buttermilk
¼ Cup plus 2 TBL Ginger Ale (7-Up can be used)
½ Stick of Butter (melted)
Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Add Glynis’ Butter Biscuit Mix, sour cream, buttermilk, and ginger ale to a large bowl. Stir until well incorporated; dough will be soft and sticky.
Cover bowl with plastic for 30 minutes to rise. Brush 2 pie pans with melted butter.
Turn out dough onto floured surface. Dust top of dough with flour, gently press down with fingers then Flip it over once. Press down dough with fingers to about ½ inch thick.
Cut out biscuits with 2-inch cutter; place 6 biscuits closely in each pan but not quite touching. Brush the tops and sides of biscuits with melted butter. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly brown.
