- 1 Cup of unsalted butter
- 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 Cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 TBL instant coffee granules
- 2 Cups of Glynis’ Kitchen Scratch Mix, leveled
- ¼ TSP of cayenne pepper
- ½ TSP of chipotle pepper
- ½ TSP of chili powder
- 2- ½ TSP cinnamon
- 2- ½ TBL vanilla extract
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1- ½ Cups walnuts, chopped (optional)
Directions: Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Line a 9”X13” baking pan with parchment paper or grease with your favorite baking spray.
Melt together the butter and chocolate chips in a medium bowl over simmering water. Allow to cool slightly.
In a separate large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cocoa powder, coffee granules, cayenne pepper, chipotle pepper, chili pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
With a rubber spatula, mix the cooled chocolate mixture to the egg mixture until well incorporated. Add in the sugar and then Glynis’ Kitchen Scratch Mix. Continue to mix until smooth. Toss in the chopped walnuts (optional).
Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into 1- ½ inch squares. Grab a cold glass of milk or a warm cup of tea and enjoy!!!
